If you are a member of the OA, the Lodge needs your help. The first thing to do is to start attending your chapter meeting. Important information about upcoming events is given out at chapter meetings and you need to be there to keep up to date with what is going on in the lodge.

Then, start coming to the lodge events. We have three service days aroud the council each year (Fellowships) and a Winter Conclave, where we have a weekend of fun and games. We also have an annual gathering of the lodges in our section called the “Conclave”. This weekend is always exciting and is fun for all.

I attended the recent ordeal at Camp Fleischmann. I am honored to be an arrow man.
I do have a problem with the registration being posted at 5:30pm and no one showing up until 7:30pm.
Is this the kind of service that I and others can expect from this Lodge?
    Sincerely,
    Kevin Stebbins

Kevin, We regret you had such an experience at our last fellowship. Graduations that night dwindled our ranks of key leadership. We actually had prioritized an earlier registration higher on our list for this next event, having seen how this shortcoming had caused logistical difficulties which rippled through the first night. We most certainly intend on having registration up and running by 5:30 this weekend. We hope you enjoy your experience. –and please! Check with our Secretary at the event to assist us with any possible shortcoming in our records on your status. Remember, your dues assist us in attaining Quality Lodge which helps the council attain Quality Council! —-and if you are given to service, check with our Lodge Adviser for an open committee position that might suit you. Best wishes, Jim Manion Past Lodge Adviser
