  • About the Chapter

Apensuwi is a Lenni Lenape term for useful or enjoyable.

The Apensuwi Chapter meets the first Monday of every month at 7pm alternating between the Community Center in Lovelock, NV and Round Table Pizza in Winnemucca, NV. Apensuwi covers the Humboldt District which is inclusive of Lovelock, Winnemucca, Orovada, and Battle Mountain.

Apensuwi Chapter has been the host of the Lodges’ Spring Gathering the last 2 years and requires the active participation of its members for its continued success. Development of a new remote camp site in Rye Patch started in 2009 has the potential for numerous service projects for years to come and provide camping enjoyment for all Scout units in the Council. In addition the restoration and development is needed for the old youth camp in Unionville once used by surrounding units as a scout camp. SO COME AND JOINS US IN THE BROTHERHOOD OF CHEERFUL SERVICE.
